For the length, you can opt for 2.10 m to 2.70 m depending on your fishing grounds. When it comes to rod style, casting or spinning is easy to learn when you're new to the sport. Be careful to adapt the reel size and the line.
Rods for trout stalking
The concept is a little different for trout, which are generally found in small rivers. Trout can be caught in a variety of ways. You can opt for lures, handled minnows, fly-fishing imitations or natural baits. This means choosing a fishing rod completely different to suit the type of fishing you want to do. For example, for lures, the rods will be short and with a fairly low power range to master the use of a fine line.
