Description

Daiwa the Certate SW is an exceptional spinning reel dedicated to strong sea fishing. Following on from the success of the LT and LT Ark versions of the Certate, the Japanese brand is once again delighting us with this brand new model, which is set to become a benchmark for all sea anglers.

Compact, robust and very powerful, it will take on the bass and tuna of our waters without batting an eyelid, and will even tackle exotic fisheries without any problem.

It's a genuine replacement for the highly acclaimed Catalina, with its machined aluminium monocoque frame providing rock-solid strength. It's also equipped with a large Tough Digigear control wheel with a large number of teeth, giving it a considerable amount of extra power.

This reel remains very light and fluid, thanks in part to its Air Rotor made from Zaion carbon, which makes its rotation much smoother and lighter, a very interesting advantage for the most extreme fishing.

The Certate SW is of course resistant to marine conditions, guaranteed watertight thanks to Magsealed oil and a Magsealed ball bearing in the pick-up roller.

Depending on the model, you'll find an oval handle for fast retrieves and a round EVA handle for slower retrieves. Each one has been designed to improve your comfort and performance for their respective type of fishing.
