Here's a 4-strand braid that has a lot going for it. Having been abandoned for some years in favour of 8-strand and more recently 12-strand weaves, this less expensive type of braid lacked roundness and glide in the rings. The Shimano Kairiki 4 does away with these problems, while giving you the 4-strand braid's main quality, its resistance to abrasion.

Made in Japan, this model has a high quality fibre for good glide. Its Mantis Green colour will be particularly visible and will adapt perfectly to both freshwater and sea fishing.
