Description

This D-Coax model from Smith is the biggest model in the series. At 6.1cm and 8.4g, it's clearly designed to sit between a D Contact and a D Contact Type II. It has just been developed by the Japanese brand to be an interesting alternative to these two lures.

The first thing you'll like about this lure is its mass transfer. This means that the lure can be cast further out if necessary and still make only a slight clicking noise when retrieved. This ensures that your target fish will quickly spot their prey, even when the water is very turbid.

During the casting phase, you have two options. If you want to go deep, feel free to leave your pick open, as the lure will quickly descend into the water column from behind. On the other hand, if you're looking for shallow fishing, you can take advantage of the lure's flat belly, which will allow it to oscillate on the way down when your line is taut
