Description
The Powershad from Westin is a rod that you'll find in the W3 series as well as the W4 and W8 series. It is one of the brand's flagship products. The W6 version comes in two distinct models. Firstly, there's the 240MH, which has a power output of 15 to 40g. It's ideal for soft bait fishing, but not the only one. Its Toray blank offers a fairly versatile action that will allow you to fish with crankbaits, spinnerbaits or chatterbaits.
This doesn't mean that the rod loses any of its resonance and sensitivity, and it's still excellent for handling soft lures. The W6 Powershad 270 H is slightly more powerful but has the same qualities as its little sister. It will benefit from a longer length for longer casting distances or even better control of long-distance action. You'll be able to use these two Westin rods in both sea and freshwater in search of powerful predators ready for a fight.
