Westin has put all its know-how into redesigning its W6 range over the months. The Toray blank is simply fantastic, offering more flexibility than a high modulus carbon blank while retaining exactly the same sensitivity or even more. This gives these rods much greater versatility and the W6 Powercast once again confirms this trend.

With a power range from 40 to 130g, you'll be delighted to be able to handle medium-sized lures as well as big baits. In fact, this is a rare rod profile on the market, which normally reserves these powers and lengths for casting rods.

The W6 Powercast will therefore cast quite far and, thanks to its lever arm, will easily animate your lures at several tens of metres while having total control of the line. You'll mainly be targeting pike with this model, but the quality of its blank ensures that you'll enjoy hooking all smaller species.
