The aim of the Alcance Reel is to offer you a reliable, robust and very fluid casting reel that will be able to propel a wide range of lures. This is the SRV concept, which stands for SMART REPONSE VERSATILE (meaning that the reel will adapt to whatever you throw at it). At just 11.4g, the spool will turn at the slightest touch.

But ZPI has distributed the weight on the spool to prevent it from spinning out of control on hard casts. Add to that a very sophisticated 30-position setting, and you've clearly got a top-of-the-range performance model in your hands.
