These are the product models most commonly used in France. There are numerous series with specific qualities for lure fishing techniques. We're going to take a look at the main and most popular tenryu spinning rods.
The injection model remains the rod best-selling model from Tenryu. With dozens of models in this series, you'll be able to cover both sea and freshwater fishing with a wide range of techniques. However, it's mainly designed for lure fishing, offering a wide range of complementary power levels. The most popular will be the 73M for its versatility, the Fast Finesse for its top action on soft lures with a fine line or the 82MH for its long casting distances.
The RAYZ is another series, but this time it's much more trout-oriented. Taking advantage of the exceptional qualities of carbon blanks, it offers you not one length, but many, with varied power and either stiff or supple actions. Designed for whitewater and reservoir fishing for salmonid predators with a lure. Their actions will be specific to allow good penetration of hooks with small lines. The details of the reel seat and the finish are of a very high standard. The best-selling models will remain the 53 LML for lure fishing between 1 and 10g, and the 82 model for its ability to manoeuvre lures and big fish from a distance.
The Red Flip series is particularly popular with sparid anglers. It will offer you length and power to make the best of your presentations when fishing with tenya or madai jigging. The Red Flip 802 will be our favourite model.
Many other series exist to help you find your favourite predator. These include the Bull Dog series for boat fishing, Rod Bar rods for bass stalking and Super Mix rods. These rods combine weight, power and sensitivity to give you a top-of-the-range product.
Casting models from Tenryu
If there's one rod everyone can agree on, it's theBC casting rod. A flagship product for both sea and freshwater fishing, the BC Casting rod Tenryu has made a major contribution to the brand's reputation on the French market. The rod is available in a wide range of versions, from light lure animation to much heavier lures for pike, catfish or even jigging. There are many reference rods in this series. These include the 73 M and rod 73 XH for pike fishing with fine hooks, as well as the 80 XXH and 85 rods for lures weighing over 100g. The vertical Light jigging series is also great for pike-perch.
The other lesser-known but no less high-quality series is the Horizon. Designed for slow jigging, it allows you to let down this jig with its particular shape while still in control. It comes in a single length and with different power ratings to suit your needs. Its featherweight makes it easy to balance with specific reels. From a 100g jig to a 250g jig, you'll be spoilt for choice. Slow jigging has never been so easy.
Other series of rods exist in the brand. For example, you could benefit from the same carbon work on a whole series for exotic fishing. With plenty of power for fishing with heavy lures, it's easy to travel with and will adapt to your most powerful reels. Some can be used for light trolling but not for surfcasting.
