Following the success of the Curado DC, Shimano has decided to extend the range of casting reels that can benefit from DC technology. So now a reel like the SLX benefits from this brake system with its distinctive sound. You'll benefit from cutting-edge technology in a state-of-the-art reel priced at under €210.

You'll have a choice of two retrieve speeds. The Ratio 6.3 offers 67cm of retrieve per crank revolution. This gives it great versatility for both hard bait and using vibrations, spinnerbaits or even soft linear lures. The Ratio HG of 7.2 has a speed of 77cm per turn of the crank, for soft bait fishing with banners to retrieve, but also for fishing techniques requiring you to beat the ground.
