Sizes 7'8 (2.34 m) are generally preferred for long distance casting of lures weighing from 3 to 10 g when the fish are far from shore. The 7'4 (2.23 m) model has a fluorescent orange tip and a casting weight of 2-8 g. It's ideal for fishing from the dock, pontoon or rocks.
