Here we present the jewel in the crown of the Seven bass range, with yet another exclusive model, entirely designed and engineered to provide a real plus for float tube anglers. The Flatform has its roots in the Jungle Operator and the MUTANT stand-up paddle. The ultimate evolution of this type of innovative product, the Flatform is not a stand-up, not a float tube and not a boat... its name perfectly identifies this UFO: "Flatform, the Fishing Platform". A contraction of Fishing and Platform, the Flatform is unique in the world.
Once again, with this hybrid of several worlds, you're entering a whole new realm, mixing the 'Air Dropstitch line' and the 'Hybrid line'. The Flatform has no rigid structure. It has a double skin (top and bottom) with additional reinforced and coated PVC fabric bladders on the sides. Between the top skin (the deck) and the bottom skin (the hull), a 3D Mesh, Seven Bass Air Dropstitch, i.e. a very fine mesh made of polyester threads, holds the skin in place when inflated. This mesh structures and stiffens the whole thing once it's under pressure, giving you a flatform that doesn't look like a big balloon. This is known as the "drop stitch" technique.
This construction will allow you all the extravagance you could everimagine with a float tube.... In fact,you'll benefit from space and stability that will even allow you to fish standing up on your Flatform, despite its 2m length! It's built to the highest quality and comes fully equipped, with oars on the side sponsons for higher oarlocks, side bags, a stern for an electric motor and, like a rowing machine, a foot bar. On the hull, two small fins are permanently positioned under the side sponsons, while a large removable centreboard is located aft, before the engine position.
Stored in its carry bag, it fits easily into the boot of any car. Inflated in justa few minutes, it is perfectly rigid thanks to its thickness of over 16cm (6') inflated to a maximum pressure of 15 psi for the dropstich section, and 3 psi on the PVC sides
