Description
The Rugen 86 casting rod from BFT is an ideal rod for fishing for big pike. We spent a whole day fishing on Lake Geneva and this rod just seemed like the obvious choice! In fact, this rod provides considerable fishing comfort when using very large lures, big 25cm swimbaits mounted on heavy weight heads weighing up to 220g.
The lever arm is just the right length (67cm) for animation and pulling, and the long handle is perfect for positioning under the arm when cranking. This powerful Rugen 86blank is fitted with solid Typhoon quad leg rings of the right size and a reel seat Fuji .
With a length of 2.59m, it's easy and effortless to reach good casting distances. Despite its length, it takes up a mere 177cm of space. So it's easy to transport and store.
