It's often difficult to find a suitable hook for stalking catfish with confidence. That's why VMC has created the 8357 Catfish hook to meet the growing demand from anglers for large specimens requiring unrivalled breaking strength. Two types of finish are available: NT, which is a special coating on the hook that increases penetration speed by 50%, and PS, which limits corrosion to a minimum.

Cone cut: A highly effective point with several strings to its bow. Thanks to their conical point, these models are very sharp and of high quality. Their triangular top and fine beard give them excellent penetration.
HI Carbon: Carbon stabilises the iron during temperature changes. The higher the level of carbon, the stronger the steel. VMC uses only high-carbon steels to produce finer, stronger hooks with a long-lasting point.
