NS Black Hole is a Korean brand specialising in the development of rods for freshwater and sea fishing. Founded in 1988, NS Black Hole is renowned for the high strength of its fishing rods. Whether for tuna or trout fishing, NS Black Hole rods are light and sensitive. These rods are used for sea fishing, particularly coarse fishing. They feature an ultra-strong, sensitive blank made from CTX carbon. CTX carbon involves winding 24- or 30-tonne carbon strips at regular intervals around the tip of the blank in an X shape to make it more powerful and resistant.

Although the Korean brand has concentrated on manufacturing a wide range of rods, it has chosen to focus on very specific techniques, such as popping and jigging.
