Description

The Humpback Minnow is an excellent small fish imitation designed for trout fishing. This small suspending lure is perfect for opening fishing when the water is high and fast. The trout will gather behind the first weed beds, large rocks or any other structure on the river and position themselves on the carrying lanes.

The suspending properties of the lure combined with its highly erratic action are very attractive to feeding trout. At the start of the season, cast the Humpback Minnow into the current and work it like a normal hard bait with very short pulls and pauses. Later in the season, when the water drops, a slow linear retrieve will create a continuous vibration that will stimulate attacks and attract trout over longer distances.
