Description

The sMRT SHIELD is a compact and robust personal locator beacon (PLB), designed to ensure your safety during your outdoor adventures.

Speed and GNSS Accuracy: Equipped with GNSS receivers (GPS & Galileo), the sMRT SHIELD offers fast and accurate position acquisition.
Returnlink Function: The Returnlink feature allows the user to receive a signal confirming that the distress alert has been received, providing additional peace of mind.
Easy to Use: Thanks to the sMRT mobile app, accessible via NFC, you can easily access your beacon's settings and check the battery level.

Technical features:

406 MHz: Transmits a distress signal on the global 406 MHz satellite rescue system.
RLS: The Return Link service informs the user that the distress signal has been received.
Double GNSS: Combines GPS and Galileo GNSS receivers for accelerated detection.
Class M: Complies with European regulation ECC/DEC/(22)02 regarding the use of MOB devices.

Compatibility with mobile phones via NFC (Near Field Communication) and the sMRT app to access all the beacon's data such as its battery status.
