The Okuma spinning rod Salina Tuna is specially designed to target tunas of all sizes, thus setting a new standard in tuna fishing. These rods have been meticulously developed to meet the demands of the most passionate fishermen and to counter the formidable power of tunas while respecting a limited budget.
These affordable rods feature a high modulus carbon blank, exceptionally powerful and optimized for intense battles with tunas. Built in 2 sections (1+1), the Salina Tuna maintains an ideal curvature to minimize tension on the fisherman during fierce battles. This design allows to maximize endurance and reduce fatigue, even during the most grueling battles with large tunas while maintaining a limited size for rods from 2m30 to 2m50.
Each component of the Salina Tuna range has been chosen with particular care to ensure optimal performance, a contained price and increased durability. The blanks are equipped with Fuji reel seats, known for their reliability and robustness. In addition, the rods are equipped with SeaGuide New Concept rings with zirconium inserts and SS316 stainless steel frames, offering exceptional resistance to corrosion and effective heat dissipation to avoid any damage to the fishing line.
The butt of the Salina Tuna rods is equipped with a rubber gimbal that prevents the rod from turning in the harness, thus ensuring a firm and comfortable grip. This attention to detail contributes to a more enjoyable and efficient fishing experience, allowing fishermen to fully focus on their technique and on catching tunas.
