Setting up a line for trout fishing with lures

Trout fishing with lures sometimes requires the design of trout leaders using line & braid trout. This is particularly important for anglers who enjoy fishing on braid. The use of braid is useful for getting the best feel for bites and lures.

However, braid is not a very discreet fishing line. It is therefore advisable to use leaders of varying lengths with nylon or fluorocarbon. These flexible, almost transparent filaments are virtually invisible in the water. They make it easier to fish for trout in clear water.

The leaders limit the loss of the material in case of loss. In fact, when you hook with a leader, you only lose the leader, thus preserving your line body.

Setting up a line for trout bait fishing

Although bait fishing is thought to be the simplest technique, the construction of these rigs is not necessarily so. When fishing for trout with bait, the line has to be perfectly balanced to be attractive in the current. In addition, these are made withbarrel swivels to allow your fishing line to keep its original shape and not twist.

As with lure fishing, top-water fishing requires a line body made from braid and a fluorocarbon or nylon leader.

Leaders allow you to be more discreet in the water but also limit the loss of equipment in the event of breakage.
