Founded in Paris in 1938, the French spoon brand has remained true to itself, offering the same fearsome spoons for almost 84 years. Why change a winning team? Especially when it's always winning!

André Meulnart, the creator of Mepps, used all his expertise and experience as an engineer at Peugeot to design these legendary spinning spoons, and we can't praise his success enough.

Manufactured almost by hand, the Mepps spoons have retained their look and design quality of yesteryear. And that's something to be grateful for these days, when we're paying the price for over-consumption.

Mepps spoons, ideal for predator and trout fishing

Even if you're most familiar with Mepps the Aglia, Lusox and Comet models, the brand also offers many other models. Whether you're fishing for pike or trout, over the years the brand has been able to offer an ever-increasing number of references while keeping its great classics warm, to the delight of anglers.

The Lusox spoon, with its original paddle shape and red tassel, has won over countless pike anglers since its creation. Nowadays, you can still find them in anglers' tackle boxes and, above all, in pike mouths.

As far as trout are concerned, the Aglia and Comet have nothing left to prove as long as they remain popular with anglers. These little spinners continue to vibrate and flutter in the veins of water and in the baits, and still whet the appetite of the trout.
