The Tricoroll Knocker 70 SHW from Illex is a heavier and louder version of the Tricoroll Ryushin 70 SHW. The addition of a tungsten ball has increased the weight of this swimming fish by an average of 6%, depending on the model, which further enhances its ability to reach distant posts. Thanks to this mass transfer, this ball improves accuracy and casting distances while increasing the lure's sinking speed. Its deep sound increases the lure's presence in the water. It is therefore more easily spotted by predators in the fishing area.

This is a minnow type lure "Super fast sinking" or "Super Heavy Weight", retains its abilities to track large trout and other large salmonids such as salmon or sea trout. Its technical characteristics make it effective as soon as it descends, thanks to a strong "Rolling" effect. It is also effective during downstream or three-quarters downstream drifts, where the angler accompanies his lure, rod high, with a semi-tight line. Under these conditions, the slightest animation sets the lure in motion by simple pressure of the current on the triangular-shaped bib, which ensures great stability in the most agitated sectors. Traditional "Jerking" and "Twitching" animations are also effective in deceiving the vigilance of trout and deciding those who are content to follow without attacking.

This lure excels in all types of large environments, whether in medium and large rivers, mountain lakes, estuaries or seashores. Its streamlined body guarantees exceptional hold in high current areas, but also in slower sectors, where the slightest water pressure or animation makes it oscillate. To limit the risks of unhooking, the ventral hook is fixed by a rolling swivel (Rolling Swivel) that rotates 360 degrees, which is also an asset for other species such as asp, perch or bass that easily unhook during the fight.
