The Ultra Omorig from Yo-Zuri is a floating squid jig specially designed for the Japanese Omorig technique. This eging lure is equipped with a small weight for balance located under the throat. This feature allows for a slow rise or sink in a horizontal position, thus offering a perfect presentation for cephalopods such as cuttlefish and squid, while limiting snagging on cluttered bottoms.

The Omorig technique uses this type of squid jig with a derivative rig. By varying the weights, it offers the possibility to fish at significant depths or in strong current conditions.
