The squid jig Patapata-Q Rattles 3.5 from Yo-Zuri stands out from other lures for cephalopod fishing thanks to its rattles. By combining a set of advanced technologies, this squid jig optimally attracts squids and cuttlefish. The rattles integrated into this squid jig produce high-pitched sounds thanks to small steel balls. Japanese studies have shown that these sound waves at certain frequencies attract cephalopods, as they mimic the crystalline sound of shrimp in the water.

The lateral fins, made of silicone rather than traditional feathers, create micro-vibrations even with the smallest animations or currents. These vibrations attract predators from afar. In addition, UVs, visible to cephalopods, have been integrated into these fins for increased attraction under this light spectrum.

The ultra-streamlined body of the squid jig Patapata-Q has been laterally refined at the head to improve hydrodynamics. This reduces the resistance to traction during jerks by 8%, thus facilitating the bichi bachi animation and making the jerks faster.
