The finishes of the Illex paddle are particularly neat. It has a main inflatable compartment made of double layer Dropstitch PVC, guaranteeing optimal rigidity. This compartment is equipped with a secure inflation valve and is covered with a 5mm EVA foam non-slip mat. The side floats, also inflatable and equipped with safety valves, complete the structure for maximum stability.
To optimize the storage and safety of equipment, this model is equipped with two nets - one at the front and one at the back - to secure your fishing gear and accessories. Ten stainless steel D-rings resistant to corrosion serve as practical attachment points. Four carry handles facilitate handling, while two pairs of velcro straps on the floor allow for rod and paddle storage. The paddle also includes two small fixed fins and a large removable fin for better control.
It comes with practical accessories: a manual pump with pressure gauge (recommended inflation pressure between 10 and 14 PSI), a leash, a three-part aluminum paddle, a repair kit and a transport bag (50 cm x 50 cm x 90 cm).
To ensure a safe outing, it is recommended to stay a maximum distance of 300m from the coast, to wear a life jacket with a minimum buoyancy of 50N, a towing device and a waterproof light marking device. The leash is mandatory in the sea/ocean or closed environments, but prohibited in white water. It is advisable not to navigate alone, to inform a relative of your outing and to carry a means of communication in a waterproof bag. Thorough preparation is necessary to avoid surprises (checking the weather, winds, currents, etc.).
