Description
The Certate 24 SW is the beefed-up version for sea fishing of the Certate reel from Daiwa. Specifically designed for sea fishing, it is now equipped with Airdrive technology to improve fluidity while maintaining optimal control.
Available in seven sizes and three different ratios, it covers a wide range of fishing techniques, from shore jigging to light and medium jigging, as well as more intensive fishing from the shore, such as from a rocky outcrop.
This reel is equipped with a Monocoque aluminum frame and a G1 Duraluminium drive gear, providing exceptional power. The Zaïon rotor, combined with Airdrive Design technology, significantly reduces friction and stress, thus increasing the fluidity and durability of the reel.
The ATD TYPE-L brake system offers a smooth response to fish pull. Improved for use with lighter lines, it reduces the load on the line and allows for faster combat, minimizing the stress inflicted on the fish and the risk of breakage. The micrometric front brake is composed of carbon discs and a very loud ratchet, ensuring reliable and precise performance.
The "AirDrive Design" is an innovative concept developed by Daiwa for spinning reels. It applies to the front part of the reel (rotor, spool, shaft and basket handle), offering superior operability with maximum power and rigidity. This design combines fluidity and power in a single reel.
