It has been three years since the old series was in the range at Daiwa. The Prorex AGS is therefore seeing a new version arrive for 2025. We are going to offer you no less than 15 models. They offer the possibility of a variety of techniques for freshwater predator fishing which is very interesting.

The range is thus composed of models that for some will be perfect for searching for perch, zander and of course pike. You will also see on the blanks of these rods a small name that allows them to be distinguished from each other.

However, the biggest question in these range renewals is to know what has changed with the old models. You may have already noticed that the cosmetics have been slightly modified. This is particularly noticeable with the reel locking ring, which features a rather nice purple design.

We of course find the presence of the AGS rings which have made a large part of the reputation of this series. From now on, we can count on an Air Sensor reel seat which has been greatly enriched with carbon to both lighten the whole and also so that vibrations pass better into the hand.

Daiwa also announces a completely redesigned butt. You will thus be able to benefit from better ergonomics, improved handling and an even more accomplished balance than in the previous version.

This rod remains for us a reference model in the brand and it will not fail to bring you the right compromise between price and quality.
