The Big Backer Jig, a casting jig type lure, was designed to optimize the range of casts thanks to its rear center of gravity. The compact and pear-shaped silhouette of this metal jig Illex allows a wide variety of animations, whether slow or lively. This lure is ideal for simulating a fleeing or injured fish with fast horizontal recoveries, triggering the attack of marine predators such as bass, pollack, mackerel, bonito, and others. In freshwater, it is very effective for perch and pikeperch fishing.

Its sculpted sides, combined with a sparkling holographic coating and a choice of bright colors, increase its attractiveness.
