The Runaboot is a multifunctional swimbait. With a total length of 21cm and a weight of 50g, this Grassroots lure is floating but dives at different depths by adjusting its bib. This Swimbait Swimbait benefits from a body articulated in two parts with a long silicone tail that swims in a seductive manner.
Its streamlined design guarantees increased visibility underwater and superior attractiveness, ideal for capturing the attention of predators such as black bass or pike. The three hooks optimize the chances of capture while minimizing unhooking, a problem often encountered with large swimbaits. In public freshwater, be sure to remove one of the 3 hooks to comply with current legislation. A rolling swivel is cleverly integrated into the head hook for better mobility and to reduce the number of unhooking.
The joints of the Runaboot offer the possibility to switch from a wide and flexible swim to a more discreet and tight swim. The bib can be completely removed or modified in 2 ways to dive deeper or less deep.
By default, the Runaboot fishes shallow areas with slow retrieval and up to 2m in linear retrieval. It thus offers a tight and natural swim.
By opting for the diving bib, positioned horizontally, this swimbait can swim up to 3m deep with a more natural action.
Without a bib, it's a surface lure that can be used like a jointed pencil bait type lure. It will be formidable with a "dog walk" type animation.
The Runaboot allows a versatile approach, ranging from surface fishing (topwater) to reaching average depths of 3m, thus perfectly adapting to different fishing techniques and fishermen's preferences.
To remedy situations where bites do not materialize, this lure is equipped with three DECOY Treble Y-F33F #2 treble hooks. These hooks guarantee optimal capture as soon as the fish comes into contact with the lure, while reducing the risks of tangling during casting.
The Runaboot is equipped with a custom palette that creates a striking visual effect during the Dead Walk animation or during linear retrieval, also producing a distinctive clicking sound when in contact with the lure. A ring has been added to the eyelet to facilitate the attachment and quick removal of this accessory.
The silicone tail offers a realistic and seductive swim, whether in Dead Walk or linear retrieval. Made from a flexible silicone known for its durability, intense coloring and malleability, this material resists permanent deformations and does not alter other materials, which facilitates storage with other lures. The tail, attached by a wood screw, can be easily replaced with a small flat screwdriver.
Finally, the articulated section incorporates aluminum components with holes allowing adjustment on two levels. The standard setting, "Flexible Mode", activates the screw in the caudal side hole, providing a wide range of movements suitable for both the Dead Walk and linear retrieval. By moving the screw to the anterior hole, the "Tight Mode" is obtained, which produces a more pronounced beat (changing modes requires the use of a screwdriver).
