The hard bait Soul Flat 58 SF from Illex is a crankbait. It is a hard bait slow floating lure, a hybrid between a Long Bill Minnow and a Flat Crankbait. The Soul Flat 58 SF has flat sides which make it more responsive to action and also allow it to displace more water in its path. However, this crankbait doesn't pull too hard at rod for a pleasant fishing sensation.

This small crankbait with a large lip can be retrieved using linear, twitching, jerking and stop & go techniques. This crankbait is shaped like the Soul Shad. It has a very stable straight line even on fast retrieves. You can give it a completely erratic and unpredictable swimming action with light jerks of the tip. In this way, the Soul Flat imitates a fleeing prey perfectly!
