TheRC Trailer single hook is an assistant hook from Ravencraft. This assist hook is designed to be used with different types of lures to replace a treble hook. As we all know, using a treble hook is not always without risk for the fish during the fight. What's more, it's sometimes harder to unhook when you're putting your fish back in the water. Assist hooks are much less dangerous for fish. Their flexibility considerably reduces the number of unhookings while making it easier to unhook the fish once it is in your hands.

Assist hooks are used for trout, perch, black bass and zander fishing, as well as in the sea, where they originated. What's more, treble hooks tend to stick more easily in obstacles or weedbeds, whereas assist hooks work very well in this type of obstacle. This way, you preserve the balance and swimming ability of your lure.
