Description
The brand's Casting rod Orochi X10 F9 710XT Megabass is constructed from an X10 series organic fibre blank. This blank incorporates natural materials such as plant fibres (cellulose microfibrils). These materials give these rods amazing vibration-damping and shock-absorbing performance.
Thanks to these materials, the Orochi X10 F9 710XT has a tensile strength that surpasses that of fibreglass while being much lighter. Megabass offers a range of rods with a particularly smooth action without compromising on weight and strength. This rod regular action rod is designed for use with large swimbaits such as the Magdraft 8" and 10", Balam 300 or Jointed Claw Magnum for record-breaking pike and black bass.
What's more, the team responsible for developing the X10 series of rods were keen to maintain sustainable manufacturing and the use of natural materials to help reduce CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process. Of all the composite materials used by ITO Engineering to date, this is the most durable and functional.
