The spinning rod Pepper X5 S 2252 M-MH Silver Ops is the most powerful rod in the Pepper range from the brand Illex. Gael Even himself specifically designed this two-piece rod for both finesse and muscular fishing.

With a length of 2m25, this Pepper benefits from a specific action thanks to its blank. This allows for long-distance casting while ensuring optimal control and feel of the lure and touches. Its action is very fast on the lower 3/4 and softer on the last 1/4.

These characteristics allow for a versatile rod on Hard baits of the surface type, on swimming fish and soft lures mounted on weight heads from 5 to 14g in linear or traction with weight heads from 7 to 21g depending on the size of the soft lure.
