Description
The spinning rod Megaforce Verticale 2023 is a rod Daiwa designed for discovering vertical fishing. As the name suggests, vertical fishing consists of fishing under the boat, close to the bottom, by moving (or not moving) your soft bait with a view to catching difficult fish such as pike-perch.
Vertical fishing can be practised in reservoirs, rivers where there is no current or where there is little water movement. The Megaforce Vertical 2023 rods are therefore short (1m90) to allow you to fish just under the boat or under your float tube while maintaining maximum manoeuvrability. These rods come in 2 power ratings to cover the main weights used for pike-perch fishing.
These spinning rods have a tip action that's sensitive enough to deliver discreet strikes. However, they still have plenty of reserve power to tackle the biggest pike-perch.
