The Ocean Obsession Power MN surfcasting combo from the brand Sunset the Ocean Obsession Power MN surfcasting combo comprises a 4.50m 100 to 200g rod and an Ocean Trail SW FD size 701 surfcasting reel with a 4.1:1 ratio. This 1495g set features a three-piece 24T "Technifibre" carbon blank, a shock-absorbing knob, a non-slip handle, a silver tubular reel seat, MN SiC-tied guides, a "Power" tip for maximum power and a fabric case.
This Sunset kit is perfect for beginners to surfcasting from the beach. Fitted with a powerful carbon blank, this rod will propel rigs weighing up to 200g to long distances. Excellent value for money. The MN guides allow the use of large-diameter monofilament for strong fishing in currents, through seaweed or with bulky baits. You'll also benefit from a painted tip that makes it easier to see bites in low light conditions.
The Ocean Trail SW FD reel on this surfcasting rod features an ABS body and rotor, a micrometric front drag, a ball bearing, an ABS spool, a Multi-Stop System M.S.S anti-reverse, an oversized roller to reduce spinning to a minimum, an ambidextrous ABS fighting handle and a rubberised grip.
