The year 2023, Westin the new version of the Bladebite chatterbait was launched. The Bladebite V2 Tungsten Bladed Jig is a 9g chatterbait available in 6 colours. This new version features a thin, heavy-duty metal blade, tailor-made to create an amazing swimming action.

The effectiveness of the BladeBite chatterbait lies in its vibration and action. When retrieved on the first cast or pause, the blade immediately catches the water and starts to vibrate. As a result, this chatterbait is formidable for fishing small environments where every turn of the crank is important.

The chatterbait is a formidable lure in both clear and turbid water. Use it to fish high up in the water column over grass, wood and rocky structures, where the seductive action stimulates predators to attack. Westin has chosen to add a solid oval split ring for direct attachment to your fluorocarbon or for use with a steel leader. So there's no risk of losing your lure because of a faulty clip.

To maximise the effectiveness of your lure, you can add a soft bait as a trailer. Curltails, paddletails and creatures work very well.
