If you're looking for a high-performance, versatile travel spinning rod, the Expedition rods from Zenaq are ideal. These 3-piece rods are designed for light to medium exotic fishing in both freshwater and sea. They offer a progressive, responsive action and plenty of reserve power.
Expedition rods are made in Japan from high-quality materials such as high modulus carbon and Fuji K Sic Titanium guides. They feature a tubular Fuji reel seat with Rouf signature for optimum reel support. The handle is made from high-density EVA foam and the butt is adorned with a cork or a grip for the EP83-6 rod.
Expedition rods come in a range of models to suit different types of lure and fish. For example, the Expedition 67 spinning rod is ideal for light tropical fishing such as peacock bass, snakehead or barracuda. It can cast lures from 13 to 70 g and handle lines from 15 to 30 lb. The Expedition 83 spinning rod is more powerful for medium to heavy fishing, such as GT, tuna or tarpon. It can cast lures from 40 to 120 g and handle lines from 2 to 6 PE.
