The braid W10 Coastal from the brand Westin is available in a 150m spool in the Morning Mist color. This braid has been developed for fishermen of sea fish including sea trout. This braid 12+1 strands is very soft and fine but remains strong and resistant to abrasion. Constructed from superior quality Japanese ultra-high molecular weight (UHMWPE) polyethylene fibers, the braid W10 Coastal uses a 13 strand (12+1) design with 12 carriers woven around a central CORE support to produce an extremely round line with good resistance compared to 8X braided lines.
The braid W10 Coastal uses "Advanced Ultra High PIC" technology with 56 weaves per inch for a smoother surface and increased abrasion resistance. In addition, this tighter weave offers the smoothest braid possible for longer and more accurate throws.
Sea trout and saltwater fishermen will be delighted with this more rigid braid to avoid the knots that can form on casting due to violent wind at the seaside. For this, Westin has equipped its braid with a double Dura-Coating coating which gives it greater rigidity. This Dura-Coating gel coating gives the braid a smoother and hydrophobic surface, reducing water absorption and decreasing friction.
The Morning Mist color does not fade. Indeed, the braid W10 Coastal is dipped in dye tanks before being treated in the oven to "cook" the pigment and finally fixed by a double gel-coat for better longevity.
