The Dead Slowler soft bait from the brand Illex is a 13.5cm shad also available in 12.5cm. This soft bait is described as a soft swimbait and has a number of disc-shaped corrugations that slope towards the front. These grooves are less pronounced on the back to help slow the lure down and give it more stability.

The many discs also allow the lure to move much more water than a traditional shad. This flexible Illex lure emits micro-vibrations that are ideal for triggering a clean attack on perch, pike-perch, pike or black bass. Unlike many shads, the Dead Slowler from Illex has a large amount of material in the tail coupled with a choke in the last third of the lure for a rhythmic and powerful vibrating action even at slow speeds.

The Dead Slowler is a dense soft bait that can be cast precisely mounted in a weightless texas on well marked spots. Pike and black bass will not be indifferent to this soft bait. You can also mount it on a jig head, in a texas rig or as a jig trailer. Linear, it is excellent for fishing between two waters in structures and on the bottom.

You'll love it for vertical pike-perch fishing, particularly around or in the middle of balls of forage fish and in the murky waters of flooded rivers.
