The casting reel SLX DC XT is an integral part of the popular SLX series from Shimano. Equipped with the Intelligent Digital Control I-DC5 braking system and a low inertia MGL III spool, the SLX DC XT casting is a very high-performance reel when casting on all lure sizes, including the lightest ones.

This reel, which facilitates casting, is a technical masterpiece, with exceptional versatility that rivals BFS (Bait Finesse System) reels. Indeed, the casting reel SLX DC XT is equipped with an ultra-light spool that rotates with smoothness and ease to achieve good casting distances.

The exclusive I-DC5 system allows you to adjust the casting brake according to the type of line you are using and the weight of the lure. The DC system offers automatic casting control to minimize the risk of backlash.

Inside the HAGANE aluminum body (with ultra-light CI4+ side plates) is a combination of Micro Module Gear and X-SHIP. This manufacturing brings to the SLX DC XT the smoothness associated with Shimano Baitcasting reels. Moreover, it is powerful enough to tackle the largest freshwater predators.

The star drag is easy to adjust thanks to cross carbon drag washers. The combat brake allows you to apply additional pressure on the spool to never lose control during the fight.
