The Element Rider X5 S240 XH Reef Ripper spinning rod from Illex is a powerful yet lightweight rod designed for the intensive use of poppers and stickbaits when fishing for the most powerful reef fish such as GT trevally and red carp. The action is ideal for casting a wide range of lures from 80 to 250g.
With the Element Rider Reef Ripper, you'll be able to make long, hard casts. It can also easily handle large poppers. Despite its power, the Reef Ripper is a soft and reassuring rod to use during the fight, allowing anglers of all sizes to fight the biggest fish comfortably and safely.
The Element Rider S 240 XH Reef Ripper is the descendant of the WAIEFU S 240 XH. It retains all the qualities of a strong, comfortable rod while being lighter and more powerful.
This rod is made from the new top-of-the-range X5 blank, which adopts a pre-impregnated mat process featuring carbon fibre orientation at three angles.
This Element Rider is light, resonant and powerful, making it even more effective and enjoyable to fish with.
You'll benefit from Fuji "MNSG" rings and the FUJI DPS-LD20/ASH+DPSM20/AB reel seat with a clamping ring to hold it in place for a better grip when fighting.
