The Samurai Jig R metal jig from Daiwa the 40g version of this jig is fitted with a treble hook and an assist hook for maximum performance. Its strength lies in its versatility: it can be used in the sea or in freshwater on a wide range of predators. You'll be able to target bass, mackerel, horse mackerel and other sea fish with great efficiency. In freshwater you'll be looking for pike-perch and perch.

The R model is a variant of the original Samurai version. The Japanese brand has made it narrower to accentuate its lateral action on animations, while its casting performance has also been improved.

The presence of an assist hook means less damage to the fish's mouth, which is another step towards responsible fishing.
