The Kohga Bayrubber Free is a lure from the Kabura family. Similar to the Tenya technique used for sparid fishing, which consists of using a natural bait close to the bottom, Kabura lures, including the Kohga Bayrubber Free, are used off the bottom.

Developed by Daiwathis lure is fitted with a 120g sinker and a coloured, shiny silicone skirt to attract fish from a distance. This type of fishing made its appearance in France after great success in New Zealand.

The Kabura Kohga Bayrubber Free is designed for vertical fishing from a boat. It can be animated on its own or with a piece of fish flesh: squid, cuttlefish, worm, etc. for added attraction.

Its sliding head is fitted with a ceramic through tube that allows your leader to slide during animation and casting. This ceramic tube also reduces wear on the leader. Its hydrodynamic head can be used in either direction depending on the strength of the current or the nature of the bottom.
