Pike spoons include wobbling spoons. Available in different shapes and sizes, wobbling spoons are widely used for pike fishing. They are very popular abroad and still overused in France. As a result, it's sure to come into its own when the fishing is tough. This is a spoon that can be cast a long way and needs to be animated.
Waddling along the bottom, the wobbling spoons flutter and send out flashes of light that attract pike from afar. Their erratic swimming action provokes aggression from large predators. They are effective in lakes and rivers, with or without current.
Spinners are the best known. They are made from piano wire on which a paddle rotates. The paddle can be of different shapes: colorado, willow leaf, aglia... This type of spoon does not require any particular animation, it activates itself in the water when you bring it back. Sometimes equipped with tassels or a fish imitation, it's up to you to choose the spoon best suited to the moment and the biotope you want to fish. The spinning spoon is a perfect imitation of a small fish running away, while the wobbling spoon is a better imitation of a dying fish.
These spoons therefore complement each other and are not used under the same conditions. So you can use spoons in as many situations as possible.
