Description

The Lagoa casting reel from Sakura is a reel designed for light jigging. It features a fast 7.7:1 ratio that generates a retrieve of 90cm per turn of the crank. Light jigging is a highly effective technique at sea when used with the right equipment.

The Lagoa casting reel is equally at home in vertical fishing. It's perfect for madai jig or soft bait fishing (meagre, pollack, cod).

This reel offers excellent value for money thanks to its one-piece machined aluminium frame, compact design and precise mechanics. This makes it the ideal reel for Salt Sniper and Shükan rods. Thanks to its fast ratio, it's perfectly suited to fishing at great depths, unlike a reel with too slow a ratio which would quickly become unpleasant to use during animation and lure retrieve.

The Lagoa is also equipped with a powerful 15kg drag capable of stopping any marine predator.
