The Battle Sounder Black bite detector from Black Cat is a device to be placed on the blank of the rod. When a hit occurs, the detector lights up and starts beeping to let you know that a hit has been made. The Battle Sounder Black is triggered by movements of the rod.

This touch sensor can be used in all weathers. It is waterproof (IP66 standard) thanks to its casing. Water, wind and dirt cannot affect its operation. It also has an innovative quick-release system so you can attach it to your rod quickly and easily.

The Black Cat detector can be used for catfish fishing from a boat or from shore by choosing BOAT mode for boat fishing or BANK mode for shore fishing. The Battle Sounder Black has 3 bite detection modes to adapt to all types of bites. Even the most timid bites will be detected.
