The Whiplash Shad is a 15cm soft bait from X Zone. A cross between a finess and a slug, this soft bait is a soft jerkbait straight from the USA.

This soft bait is the epitome of versatility. It will be effective in drop shot rigs, as an unleaded texan, as a leaded texan, on a jig head, as a carolina rig, as a jig trailer, as a chatterbait or as a spinnerbait... Although X Zone soft lures are designed for black bass fishing, you'll be able to track all the predators in European waters.

On the surface, mounted on an unplumbed Texan, it will be very effective for hunting black bass and perch when animated with small twitches. With a carolina rig, you can fish for perch, pike-perch or black bass in crowded waters without the risk of getting hooked.

As a trailer for a chatterbait or spinnerbait, it adds volume to your rig and its appendages will generate vibrations that will be appreciated by pike and other fish hunting in the vicinity.
