Description
Smithwith its Offshore Stick GTK range, the Breamfish GTK is set to become one of the most popular roosterfish and dolphinfish rods on the market. Its specifications speak for themselves, at 2m24 for 289g and a claimed power of 5PE. This is a model that will be able to take a lot of punishment while offering superb finesse.
This series of rods uses a brand new composite material to create an exceptional new-generation blank, combining Kevlar, titanium and 30 and 40T carbon. This innovation makes the rod 25% stronger than conventional carbons, while reducing its diameter by around 9%.
The GTK 74 PG benefits from this new approach thanks to its lightness and elasticity, which ensures long-distance casts thanks to the double fuji SIC Ocean ring ligature and diamond wrapping. To give you a concrete example, you'll be able to cast 80g at a distance of over 90m.
This rod will be very good for casting metals jigs and will excel at casting and animating surface lures.
