The Riptide Powerdrive BT electric bow motor from Minn Kota is a motor designed to manage drifts at sea. Easy to use, it is one of the most powerful motors on the market. It is available in CoPilot and IPilot versions, the latter adding new features to the motor. Equipped with anti-corrosion protection, it is designed for use in salty environments and can also be used in freshwater.

It has a battery gauge to monitor the motor's power consumption.

IPilot: The IPilot is a CoPilot that works in direct conjunction with the GPS: i-Tracks, spot Lock (electronic anchor) and Cruise control (cruise control). The GPS is built into the engine, and the remote control is used only to activate the functions that are made accessible by its presence.

The buttons on the i-Pilot™ remote control have been designed to provide easy, instinctive access to all the functions, leaving the user free to concentrate on fishing.

AutoPilot: This GPS-linked technology keeps the boat on course in the predefined direction while correcting the effects of drift due to current or wind.

Digital Maximizer: This feature saves battery power by maintaining a constant speed. The Digital Maximizer adapts the propeller rotation speed according to the wind and current. This extends the life and autonomy of your battery.
