The Ulterra BT front electric motor is the jewel of Minn Kota engineers. It inherits the reliability of the Terrova, with the automatic launch system (auto stow deploy). It is also combined with another automated system thanks to the IPilot which adjusts the length of the submerged shaft (power trim auto).
The Ulterra BT motor is available in IPilot BT and IPilot Link BT versions.
You can choose between 3 types of integrated probes:
- US2: Universal Sonar 2
- MDI: Mega Down Imaging
- MSI: Mega Side Imaging
On the IPilot BT and IPilot Link BT models, you can benefit from a Gyro sensor in stand. Gyro sensor standard on IPilot BT and IPilot Link BT. Also benefit from an application on your smartphone allowing you to control your motor without your remote control.
IPilot: This is a CoPilot that works in connection with the presence of GPS: i-Tracks, spot Lock (electronic anchor) and Cruise control (speed regulator). The GPS is integrated into the motor, the remote control only serving to activate the functions made accessible by its presence. The keys of the i-Pilot™ remote control have been thought out to allow easy and instinctive access to all functions in order to leave its user the maximum concentration on his fishing.
IPilot Link: In addition to the GPS-related features, it gives you control over your boat by linking your motor to your Humminbird sounder. Thus, you can define Spot-Locks, record trajectories, follow depth contours, automatically navigate to your favorite places, control speed and direction.
Spot-Lock: This feature allows you to stabilize your boat within a radius of 60 cm around a point memorized in the remote control (or in the combined with iPilot Link). Thus, it will remain at your disposal even under the effects of wind or current.
AutoPilot: The precision of your GPS allows you to maintain the boat in the predefined direction while correcting the drift effects related to the current or wind. Press a button and let your i-Pilot Link® Bluetooth® maintain the right course.
Digital Maximizer: Without Maximizer, motors run at constant power, regardless of the speed of the boat. This system results in overconsumption of electrical current and overheating of the motor. Thanks to the Maximizer, choose the desired speed and the motor will adapt to the course by reducing energy consumption, thus extending the life of the battery and mechanics for the same available power.
LIFT-ASSIST System: This system allows you to lift the motor with a single finger without any effort thanks to the Lift Assist lifting/deployment system. With a simple press on the handle, the motor lifts or deploys. The circuit breaker automatically stops your motor.
Probe MEGA Side/Down integrated: Thanks to the probe integrated in the motor, you get a Humminbird MEGA Side and MEGA Down Imaging of crystal clear clarity with a sleek look and a protected case.
