Description
The Lag Less Boron TLB 69 DT spinning rod from Smith is a rod perfectly suited to stalking trout in rivers with strong currents, but also in lakes.
Its extended 36.5cm handle makes long-distance casting much easier. This means you can fish large areas with a rod that takes up very little space. The build quality of the Lag Less Boron series will delight the most demanding anglers.
It is perfectly suited to the use of D- contact 72 rods weighing close to 10 g, such as a Cherry Blood diving rod or a D-Incite 64.
Constructed using two different carbons from 24T to 40T, woven in Boron, the brand offers a unique approach to construction that makes this rod ultra-efficient for animating your densest lures.
Quite simply, you'll enjoy absolute control in every situation.
The Blank is fitted with the Fuji SIC series of titanium guides, the first of which is deliberately reduced in size to avoid any 'slack' in the line that would hinder the rapid transmission of the lure's action or the bite.
The two sections of the rod are joined by a graphite spigot to give a natural bending curve and good transmission of bites and variations in the lure.
Finally, the meticulous finish with maple wood and laser engraving will add the finishing touch to convince even the most difficult of anglers...
