This series of casting rods signed by Shimano is surely not unknown to you. Indeed, The Expride 2022 have been in the brand's catalog for many years, with updates every 3 to 5 years to benefit from the latest developed technologies.

The last update of this model dates back to 2017, it was normal that in 2022 it benefits from an upgrade. As Shimano so aptly puts it, this series focuses on both sensitivity and responsiveness. It's a playful rod, that we love to have in our hands for fishing.

The casting series is not limited to a simple medium or medium heavy version. Indeed, the range offers you baitfiness models as well as more powerful models to imagine fishing for pike or even bass for those who are looking for it in casting.

In order to benefit from maximum quality, the brand has opted for a high-end blank with Hi-Power technology which it has combined with a monocoque carbon handle. This latter enhances the sensations and vibrations useful for understanding in reading the bottom and in the action of the lure you are using.

You can also count on the combination of Fuji Sic rings and a CI4+ brand reel seat which will allow to display feather weights on the scale. The brand has thus managed to push this series even further, gradually approaching everything we expect from a high-end rod.

Superfast delivery. The rod was carefully packed in a length of a drain pipe. The rod itself is a beauty. I have installed Shimano Calcutta Conquest DC 100 on the rod. The combination is fantastic for light tackle fishing.
